Full Job Description

As our Warehouse Assistant, you will help provide excellent service to our customers. You will mainly be assisting with operations in our warehouse, occasionally providing support with ad-hoc driving duties.,

  • Picking and checking customer orders are correct prior to delivery.

  • Serving customers on the trade counter.

  • Assisting with stock control.

  • Receiving goods and deliveries.

  • Completing deliveries and collections as required.

  • Supporting management and office with stores requirements.

    Valid UK manual driving licence is advantageous, however not essential.

  • FLT licence is desirable, however not essential.

  • Time management and organisational skills.

  • Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Good level of communication and numerical skills.

  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and as part of a team.

    Hayley Group Limited are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our well-established and experienced team based at our BML Shrewsbury branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary., Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings., From 23 days annual leave (plus public/bank holidays) increased with length of service.
