Full Job Description
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems
- Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments
- Participate in equipment installations and upgrades under supervision
- Develop proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests and projects
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and product knowledge
- Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, explain service procedures, and provide recommendations

The training you will be getting
You will achieve a nationally recognised qualification: Level 2 Autocare (lasting 24 months) and on successful completion, apprentices will move on to complete Level 3 Light Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (for a further 13 months + 12 weeks for EPA).
All of our Apprentices are employed through the Dealer Network and attend week-long block training at our state-of-the-art Training Centre in Slough.
Block training is complemented by a combination of regular coaching visits from one of our experienced Coaches as well as Virtual Classroom sessions and E-Learning modules. Throughout your apprenticeship journey, we are committed to nurturing your growth and development, guiding you toward attaining a widely recognized qualification in the motor industry.
This qualification serves as a cornerstone for building your career, offering abundant opportunities within our expanding Dealer Network. Upon successful completion of the program, you'll be well-equipped to advance and transition into new roles.
