Trainee Technical Sales Engineer

THE ROLE: You will be responsible for performing steel beam and HVAC calculations initially under the guidance of the Technical Sales Manager and Engineering director for other members of the sales team. You will also provide quotations for our wide range of products (Full training will be provided) with a view to moving onto large tenders valued at c. £500,000.00 - £1,000,000.00 once necessary experience has been acquired. As part of this, you will review customers drawings and specifications to determine customers' requirements and provide advice as needed.,

• To be able to carry out engineering calculations for the purpose of producing a quotation, e.g. steel beam deflections, HVAC, etc… (with training)


• Calculate client quotations using estimating system, follow through the administration of all actions for effective service on customer accounts.


• Respond to engineering task requests within the required deadlines.


• Develop long term relationships with clients, manage and interpret their requirements.


• Persuade clients that Morgan Marine products and services best satisfies their needs in terms of quality price and delivery.


• Efficient and effective management of projects for customers on behalf of Morgan Marine.


• Effectively support the sales team, designers, and production.
  
  REQUIRED SKILLS: The ideal candidate will have a technical engineering qualification. Experience within the Construction or Utility sectors would be a bonus. You must be organised, motivated and energetic. Computer literate with the ability to read CAD drawings., Technical Sales: 1 year (preferred)

THE PACKAGE: We are offering a starting salary of £27,288.00 depending on experience, plus potential bonus of £550.00 - £1000.00 per quarter.
