Trainee Digital Marketing Assistant

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join our Marketing department as a Trainee Digital Marketing Assistant to support our continued growth. The role involves working as part of a team, and assisting with creating, implementing, and analysing marketing collateral. The Digital Marketing Assistant will help to continuously build our brand, improving awareness of our services available, and promote the SLM Group brand.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills to be able to work as an integral member of the team and manage your workload effectively.

The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training, allowing them to learn and earn simultaneously to build a long-term career in marketing. The role will evolve overtime as the successful candidate progresses, see below for the key job areas of the Digital Marketing Executive role.

The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5pm with half an hour lunch break.,

• Provide administrative support to the marketing team for content production and marketing activities.


• Assist the development, implementation and promotion of marketing campaigns and strategies across multiple channels, including group website, email and social media.


• Assist with the planning and logistics of product placements and events.


• Support the drafting and proofreading of marketing collateral and communications to ensure alignment with SLM Group brand and high-quality standards.


• Assist in identifying, analysing and measuring marketing trends against identified KPIs to support the growth of the SLM Group brand.


• Conduct competitor research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.


• Keep up to date on industry trends and marketing best practices.
