Full Job Description

Purpose of the Job: As the Technical Services Supervisor, your responsibilities include instructing/supporting the engineering team, managing sub-contractor activity, providing administrative support to the Technical Services Manager, and undertaking training and mentoring of the team. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on various electrical and mechanical building services equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Main Assignments
- Undertake inspection and reactive activity on a wide range of Mechanical Building Services equipment.
- Ensure the safe operation and repair of all M&E and building services and fabric equipment on-site.
- Provide a core presence at client sites during extended weekday periods and weekends/out of hours.
- Directly manage engineering staff and deputize for the Technical Services Manager.
- Manage work orders via the CAFAM system and maintain compliance with the Permit to Work System.
- Implement systems to optimize plant maintenance and operation efficiency.
- Participate in energy-saving schemes and promote economic use of energy.
- Conduct appraisals/performance reviews and recognize training and development needs.
- Supervise engineers and provide cover to the technical site lead during absences.
- Monitor site performance of sub-contractors and report any poor performance.
Context and Main Issues: The role involves maintaining HVAC systems, electrical distribution/final circuits, server room/MER room power, pre-action sprinkler sets, fire systems, Simmtronic lighting systems, emergency light testing, building fabric, water quality management, and more.

As a Technical Services Supervisor at Sodexo in NBC Universal client sites, you will be relied upon for your expertise and technical knowledge to undertake necessary maintenance, oversee mechanical and electrical building services equipment, and ensure the safety of others.
Job Profile

City and Guilds/NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 qualifications in Electrical.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience in PPM, reactive, and installation work.
- Proficiency in MS Office and PDA usage.
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience in operating BMS.
