Tech Lead

We are seeking a talented Tech lead to join our Worthing-based Mobile Development team. As Tech Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that meet our business objectives and exceed user expectations.,

• Working with the solutions architect to design scalable and highly performant applications


• Creating design documents which may be used by the team as a basis for technical refinement


• Work with other teams within the PP group to optimise our team's development process, including CICD pipelines


• Adopt and promote modern software engineering principles and industry best practices.


• Contribute to the team's delivery as a software engineer


• Bring new technology ideas to the teams and take part in distributing knowledge throughout the teams


• Help to manage the team's technical documentation


• Help maintain the teams code quality through process and tooling
  
  Passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced software engineer


• Excellent analytical skills


• Experience of developing both existing and new web applications, mobile apps, and APIs


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to be both a strong team player and individual contributor.


• Experience of working in an Agile development environment


• Deep understanding of software design and patterns


• Understanding and ability to champion secure web development practices


• Highly motivated and proactive with a positive attitude


• Proven ability to develop and deliver high quality software.


• Able to coach and mentor other members of the team.


• Able to work independently without constant management.


• Flexible, able to adapt readily to changing priorities and working practices


• Able to pick up new technologies and apply them to real world problems quickly and successfully.


• Able to articulate ideas and sell them to the team.


Desirable skills:

• UML or technical modelling experience


• Azure architecture & development
