This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol, Edinburgh or Skipton. Computershare has a fantastic 12 month FTC opportunity to join our Global Talent Acquisition Operations Team to support the ongoing growth within our business. The role will support our Issuer Services, Employee Share Plans business units globally, alongside our Shared Service functions. Whilst a global role, the primary focus will mean you will be supporting recruitment in the UK, North America and Continental Europe.

Whilst this role will support professional services recruitment (e.g. Shares services, senior management & executive, business development, client relations, operations) there may be times where we will require you to be flexible and support recruitment across our wider TA operations team.

We are currently progressing through a transformation and have recently implemented a new People system, and global ways of working. Stakeholder engagement is key in this role, and you will work closely with the business to really understand their needs and demands when it comes to Talent Acquisition. You will be commercially, as well as strategically focused in your recruitment service, and we encourage you to partner with our Sourcing and Marketing teams to come up with successful attraction strategies.

Our candidate experience is extremely important to us, being a real focus in the role, which means that you will ensure that all candidates are supported throughout the recruitment journey; whether they are successful or not.

Other key accountabilities include:

  • Support and influence stakeholders in the sourcing and selection of candidates. Working collaboratively with managers to agree appropriate advertising, sourcing, and assessment approaches in alignment with the TA Centre of Excellence strategies

  • Use direct sourcing tools to attract and identify the best talent, reducing our reliance on agencies

  • Provide expert recruitment insight using market intelligence, available tools and technology, best practice standards

  • Write engaging and attractive job adverts

  • Manage third party relationships successfully

  • Keep up to date with Employment Law and adhere to recruitment process, policy, and best practice

  • Take accountability for creating and delivering appropriate recruitment strategies which are aligned to the global business lines you are supporting.


  • What will you bring to the role?

    A passion for people and service excellence is paramount to this role. You will be able to build relationships with stakeholders and candidates from the very beginning of the process. You will have the ability to flex your approach to meet the needs of the people that you are working with, will be solutions focused and ensuring that you are always looking at ways to improve.

    If you have internal recruitment experience, that's a huge bonus! We are also more than happy to consider anyone coming from an agency that is looking to take that step into an in-house role.

    As you may have gathered, we are a global team and work with stakeholders and candidates across multiple locations and time zones, therefore working schedule flexibility is required to be successful and to maximise your potential in the role.

  • Proven experience of recruiting globally (UK, North America and Continental Europe)

  • Multiple language skills will be an advantage e.g. French Canadian / European languages

  • Extensive experience working within a full 360 recruitment role with a focus on professional services recruitment an advantage

  • Experience of using direct sourcing strategies

  • Experience working with Application Tracking Systems (Oracle Fusion would be advantageous)

  • Demonstrable experience in recruiting for complex positions across all levels, and multiple locations

  • Excellent experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.
