We are currently recruiting for a Sterile Services Technician vacancy. If so, then a career with STERIS Instrument Processing would be a great fit for you. Working Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hrs per week on Monday-Friday on early (7:00-15:00) and late shift (15:00-23:00) rotation basis. Shifts scheduled between 7:00-21:00 with occasional weekend cover. What is involved? - Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards. - Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards. - Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively. - Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak). - Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to
stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust's appointed person.

An annual salary of £22,383.00 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours!
