Full Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and creative social media executive to join our team at Protected Trust Services Ltd. As a social media executive, you will work collaboratively with our communications and marketing team, directly reporting into the Head of Marketing.

You will manage our social media presence, create and execute strategies and engage with our audience to increase brand awareness. You should be able to lead and manage our digital campaigns to nurture our brand's online visibility - from initial ideas to final execution and analysis.

Objectives of this role

  • Work closely with marketing and communications teams to establish and maintain an assertive brand outreach on social platforms.

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to meet brand objectives.

  • Manage paid advertising on platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn but also via trade industry publications and apps.

  • Support social marketing efforts for other channels, such as SEO campaigns.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer concerns and inquiries from the media about a given product line.


  • Your tasks
  • Monitor the organisation's social media accounts and ensure brand consistency in all social media messages, produce reports, etc.

  • Create relevant and versatile content to engage target audiences, promote our brand and drive engagement.

  • Report and analyse the performance of social media campaigns and provide insights on performance metrics.

  • Manage outreach with third-party influencers and assist with planning events, and conferences.

  • Lead and instruct cross-functional teams (content, graphics, marketing) in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

    Experience of at least three (3) years in digital marketing, content writing, web design and social media management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with problem-solving acumen.

  • Expertise in social media platforms (like Facebook, X, Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn).

  • Familiarity with customer service and customer relations.

  • Strong attention to detail with time-management and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with ease.

  • Experienced with Adobe Illustrator and Canva

  • Experienced with video editing software and creative social media post design


  • Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Qualifications in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools (like Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Excellent knowledge of SEO and other digital marketing techniques.

  • Excellent knowledge of social media management tools (like Buffer and Hootsuite).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ideally have a good working knowledge of the travel industry - but not essential.
