Full Job Description

Pay Rate: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday-Friday (some flexibility required) AM/PM shifts - occasional nightshift

Location: Heathrow Airport (TW6 2GA)

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. You will be required to undergo a security/background check if you are to be successful for this position.

We're seeking a Site Trainer to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • To assist the Training & Resourcing Manager in the planning and delivering of training courses to new and existing colleagues.

  • To ensure full regulatory compliance and liaison with HSE, DFT and various enforcement agencies

  • Liaise with Operational managers to ensure staff availability for training courses without causing disruption to the operation, conduct assessments and maintain training records

  • Maintain knowledge and be kept up to date in relevant fields at all times


  • WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
  • Previous experience in aviation, a strong understanding of DHL's safety policies and procedures, and extensive knowledge of airlines and airport authorities.

  • A forward-thinking and organized leader with strong interpersonal skills, proven in team and self-development

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, as you will be working closely with a diverse group of colleagues and airline personnel.

  • Good IT literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel

  • Train the Trainer' certificate or Training qualification is desirable

  • Full UK driving license (manual) - essential

  • Delivering Aviation Security training


  • SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
  • Be able to provide five years address history

  • Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)

  • To obtain a full airside ID
