Full Job Description

The Senior Security Analyst's primary focus is the development, enhancement and execution of 15gifts' information security risk and compliance function. This includes securing IT assets both physical, on-premise as well as cloud based through security monitoring and investigation across the digital estate. Maintaining the ISMS aligning with ISO27001 controls and supporting teams to help align processes with security standards and best practices to protect our colleagues and the 15gifts brand.

You'll be responsible for

  • Keeping our IT estate secure and our workforce running smoothly

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams by taking ownership of security focussed initiatives

  • Improving our security posture through implementation and adoption of automated tooling

  • Stay abreast of latest cyber threats and security technologies

  • Continuously improve our overall security posture and demonstrate the value of this

    Must Haves

  • Exposure & understanding of security frameworks

  • Understanding of security frameworks, e.g. ISO27k, CIS, NIST, CSA

  • Experience investigating security incidents, collecting digital evidence and detailed forensic analysis

  • Experience with AWS

  • Experience with Infosec tools / solutions such as SIEM, DLP and Endpoint Protection

  • Experience with security best practices for firewalls

  • Experience with internal auditing and penetration testing


  • Nice to haves
  • Experience working with Linux and SQL databases

  • Understanding of containerisation and NoSQL database technologies

  • Ability to write code and basic scripts for automation

  • Experience using & supporting Apple Macs

  • Networking experience such as subnetting and DNS

  • Experience using Python, Javascript/TypeScript and Terraform

  • Security certifications such as CISA, CompTIA Security+ or GIAC
