Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen, due to an internal promotion, for a Revenue Director to become part of our leadership team.

The Revenue Director plays a crucial role in driving the financial success of our organisation by overseeing all aspects of revenue generation and ensuring that strategies are in place to meet or exceed revenue targets.,

  • Develop revenue generating strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and market conditions.

  • Set targets based on market analysis, historical data, and growth projections.

  • Monitor the performance of revenue-generating activities, such as sales, marketing, and pricing strategies, to ensure they are meeting targets and adjusting as needed.

  • Analyse revenue data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Actively collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and integration of revenue generation efforts.

  • Implementing Revenue Enhancement Initiatives, oversee projects aimed at enhancing revenue streams, such as launching new products or services, entering new markets, or improving pricing strategies.

  • Continuously evaluate and optimise revenue-generation processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Lead and manage a group of hotel based and Cluster Revenue Managers and champion team development.

    Ideal candidate would have at least 3 years' experience in a senior revenue management position or a related area, with a history of achieving revenue targets and driving growth.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

  • Ability to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to drive revenue growth.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivate staff, and drive results in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute revenue-generating strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Deep understanding of the industry, market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment relevant to the organisation's revenue streams.

  • Proficiency in using revenue management software, PMS, CRS, RMS and other relevant tools and technologies.

  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable deals with customers, partners, and vendors.

  • Ability to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to overcome them, adapting to changing circumstances and market dynamics.

  • Proven history of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth through effective revenue management strategies and initiatives.

    Salary range £75k to £80k per annum - depending on experience

  • This role can be home based or working from our offices in Elstree, Hertfordshire (or a mixture of the two). However, it must be noted that there will be very frequent requirements to travel to our managed hotels situated throughout the UK including overnight stays where needed. Applicants can be based anywhere in the UK if they are comfortable with the distances involved, are able to drive and have the use of a suitable vehicle (a car allowance and business miles are paid).,
