Project Manager / Contracts Manager - Fit Out

We are currently looking for a new Contracts / Project Manager to join us to oversee and manage our commercial projects, with a focus on the gym and potentially hotel sector., The contracts manager will be overall manager for specific projects. Reporting to he workstream manager, the Contracts Manager will manage site managers, direct labour and sub-contract labour. The role will include interfacing with equivalent managers in cost management, M&E, transport, distribution, procurement, combined installation and design and other internal departments as required.

The Contracts Manager will have overall management responsibility for delivery of the project from conception to close. This will include scoping the required works, preparing the project programme and ensure delivery of the project in accordance with the project implementation plan and Contracts Manager guidelines. All projects will be delivered in accordance with the companies ethos and maintaining it's reputation at all times. At all times the Contracts Manager must have a focus on POW, profitability, regulatory compliance and quality of delivery and project close out. The role has a wide scope and will encompass all management functions needed to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Willing to travel and could be away from home a couple of nights a week depending on job location


• Trade background - preferably carpentry, but other trades considered


• Very good communication skills


• Very good IT skills required inc MS project


• Fit Out Main Contracting experience, Retail Construction: 3 years (preferred)
