Full Job Description
- Undertakes assessments in patients presenting often complex musculoskeletal conditions and conditions masquerading as musculoskeletal pathology
- Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning skills in sometimes complex scenarios to ensure highest quality of care is delivered to patients
- Provides remote and face to face Triage of patients to the appropriate treatment pathway using a bio-psychosocial approach
- Appropriately identifies patients who require onward referral to advanced level physiotherapists/ consultants or other healthcare consultants including the use of internal escalation pathways for patients presenting with serious pathology.
- Undertakes treatment underpinned by extensive clinical knowledge and skills to deliver high quality patient outcomes.
Maintains relevant clinical skills and provides on-going evidence of personal CPD and Professional registration
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to work independently as an autonomous, experienced practitioner to deliver high quality physiotherapy care to patients, assessing and treating patients using a wide range of knowledge, skills which are underpinned by clinical reasoning, and evidence based approaches to treat musculoskeletal problems. The role also includes telephone triage assessment and management of patients to enable rapid access to appropriate physiotherapy assessment and advice., Experience, Knowledge & Expertise - Essential
· Significant postgraduate experience including extensive musculoskeletal experience
· CPD portfolio reflecting a wide range of physiotherapy experience with a focus on musculoskeletal physiotherapy including musculoskeletal pathology, sports injuries and post-operative therapy
· Experience of working in the UK healthcare sector
· Knowledge and experience underpinned by extensive postgraduate training within the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy
