Order Picker / Multi Drop Delivery Driver

We are a leading secondary wholesale supplier operating from the bustling Fruit & Vegetable Market on the Team Valley in Gateshead. Specializing in daily provisions, we cater to a diverse clientele including hotels, pubs, restaurants, cafes, and schools across the North East., As a Full-Time Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of our products to our valued customers. The position involves early morning starts at 4:00 a.m., with typical working hours finishing in the early afternoon.

Responsibilities:

1. On-Time Delivery:

- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers.

- Adhere to the daily delivery schedule.

2. Loading and Unloading:

- Pick and load orders onto the delivery van accurately.

- Handle a degree of heavy lifting as part of daily duties.

3. Precision and Attention to Detail:

- Minimize mistakes by double-checking orders before delivery.

Fit and healthy, capable of heavy lifting.

- Clean driving license for insurance purposes.

- Punctual and reliable.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
