Full Job Description

· Ownership of full marketing strategy and plan aligned with business objectives - this spans across all 14 brands

· Budget management

· Creative campaign planning and idea generation

· Team leader duties; managing the Marketing Coordinator/PPC Specialist and Digital Marketing Manager, along with owning third-party relationships with freelance Graphic Designers and web/PR/print agencies

· Contribute to and oversee content creation and activity for social media, email marketing, website, digital screens and print

· Management of photo and video shoots, taking an art director role to ensure brand consistency and value for money

· Ensure our websites perform at optimum levels, using SEO strategies to improve Google rankings

· Look to introduce price comparison and personalisation tools to improve conversion levels on the website (this is more specific to our hotel brands)

· Oversee PPC activity and performance

· Business development planning - looking at where processes can be improved to ensure marketing activity is more efficient

· Preparing proposals for new business clients and presenting them

· Quoting and managing hourly rates in comparison to industry standards

· Onboarding new clients; reviewing their current set-up/ putting marketing plans in place that are feasible for NOHM to manage and successful for the client

· Competitor research

· Brand development

· Audience/persona reviews

· Data analysis and reporting against KPI's / industry standards (again, this is for all internal brands and clients)

· Preparing board reports

· Networking and being present at relevant industry events

· Managing relationships with tourism boards and associates (Destination Coventry, Venues of Excellence etc.)

· Management of sensitive communications - working the PR agency to protect the brand and its voice

· A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject

· In-depth knowledge of the marketing mix and all channels

· Previous experience in owning marketing strategies, plans, budgets and teams

· Previous experience in writing, creating and executing marketing content

· An understanding of data and why the analytics are important

· Excellent written and communication skills

· Creative thinker

· Working experience with website analytics and digital advertising best practises

· An understanding of GDPR rules

· The ability to analyse data and make recommendations to improve content

· A proactive approach to workload and the ability to work alone

· A passion for performance led, digital marketing

· You must be able to work at a fast pace and move onto another task at short notice to meet business demands
