Full Job Description

  • Order Processing and Documentation: Process customer orders promptly and forward requisition documentation to storage and distribution personnel to ensure efficient handling and movement of goods.

  • Scheduling and Routing: Formulate optimal delivery loads and develop vehicle schedules and routes to be followed by delivery staff. Ensure that all shipments are delivered on time and in the most efficient manner.

  • Compliance and Monitoring: Monitor tachograph readings to track hours worked and distance travelled by drivers. Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with legal and operational standards.

  • Customs and Import/Export Documentation: Obtain necessary customs clearance and process all import and export documentation required for the movement of goods between countries. Stay updated on customs regulations and ensure all procedures are followed to avoid delays or penalties.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records regarding the movement and location of freight, containers, and staff.     Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role in logistics or transportation.

  • Strong understanding of logistics software or transport management systems.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export documentation is highly preferred.


  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred., Logistics: 3 years (preferred)
