Joiner

Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures
- Measure, cut, and shape wood using saws, chisels, planes, and other tools
- Fit and install prefabricated components or build them on-site
- Ensure all work is done in accordance with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects

Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Familiarity with electrical work, roofing, masonry, or painting is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor

£14.28 - £23.82 an hour - Permanent, Temp to perm, Full-time, Temporary contract
