Full Job Description

· Manage Windows 10 desktop environment and system profiles to ensure timely delivery of learning resources

· Respond to support tickets, ensuring they are updated on timely basis - Managing printing support, logging ticket with print management company to ensure smooth function of printing resources

· Manage print services and thorough understanding of network securities.

· Full insight of User management using AD and O365

· Installation and managing phone and wifi system

· Keeping log of each ticket and helping management to analyse current/future network requirement Ensuring each tickets are closed in timely manner and escalate where necessary

· Carry out system repair and maintenance to keep spares up to date

· Checking AV status on client and ensuring protection is active and up to date

· Perform system health check and provide network information

· Help update system hardware and network maintenance physically where needed.

· Plan downtime and carry out system maintenance during downtime windows.

General

· Effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) technical information at an appropriate level, and in a suitable style, having assessed the audience.

· To ensure compliance and actively promote Health & Safety at Work legislation.

· Document current Policies and Practice,

· To take responsibility for continuing personal and professional development and to keep abreast of all relevant legislation in order to facilitate all aspects of the post.

· Be aware of and comply with the College's Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, Health and Safety Policy, Data Protection Policy and any other relevant policy and procedure.

· Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

· Develop effective professional relationships with colleagues.

· Attend and participate in meetings as required.

· Participate and engage in training and appraisal as required.

· Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by senior staff.
