Full Job Description

Based at Omega (Warrington) with travel nationally to our other manufacturing sites.

This role site within the people function of THG Nutrition, servicing our Manufacturing sites and offer full HR support in key areas such as: employee relations cases, data analysis and project work.

The role will report into our Head of People and be part of the wider People Team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is confident in working independently on HR related projects, specifically within a manufacturing/ production environment.

Role Requirements

  • Performance Ratings and Bonus process management

  • Overall responsibility for all People processes in given business unit

  • Working closely with Site Lead on delivery of all organisational activities

  • Responsibility for pulling together any Pay Reviews and Promotions within the business unit

  • Standardisation of annual banded role reviews


  • Employee Relations

    Escalation of the following;-
  • ER cases across business areas including all sickness cases, flexible working requests, performance management plans, grievance and disciplinary processes

  • Welfare / OH referral / Risk Assessments / Amended duties / Capability processes

  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and managers as required

  • Ensure appropriate support is provided to THG on complex ER issues

  • Champion the development of people management skills across the Group

  • Management of Parental Leave across business areas


  • Performance Management
  • Working proactively with Site Lead to ensure appropriate performance metrics are agreed and teams held to account for deliverables

  • Coordination of performance management for all post-performance reviews


  • Engagement & Development
  • Ownership of all site level engagement strategy and activities

  • Support with creation and roll out of engagement activities

  • Develop Managers and colleagues in coaching skills and our people processes

  • Support the delivery of the local induction as required

  • Delivery of HR module training to internal management team

  • Support positive D&I culture within the wider team


  • Stakeholder partnerships
  • To take full accountability for the entire People function within the business unit

  • Work closely with wider People Team (Payroll/T&A/Shared Service/People Data) to ensure an accurate and timely input of all payroll information on to the system in line with deadlines

  • Work closely with other People Business Partners to ensure consistent delivery of strategic targets and People practices

  • Partner with Site Leadership Team to ensure delivery of all strategic Operations and People strategic targets

  • Provide advice and guidance to staff and managers and work with them to ensure they follow processes and procedures


  • Data Analysis
  • Feeding into KPI pack process and ensuring communication of the information to Site Leadership Team

    To be considered for this role you should have the following Skills and Experience

  • At least five years HR experience

  • Experience advising Senior Managers and stakeholders on HR policies and procedures

  • Proven experience delivering HR strategy

  • Strong technical skills and a good working knowledge of current employment legislation

  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Ability to analyse data and summarise key findings

  • Good communication and data presentation skills

  • Capable of working using your own initiative

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Level 5 CIPD Qualification

  • You will also need to be happy working on site and flexibility is required with regards to working pattern as this area of the business operates 24/7 so you may be required to work later shift to support nights team and also support at weekends occasionally.
