Full Job Description

An excellent opportunity for professional growth, the postholder will support and enhance the colleague experience for our global Group IT colleagues. Reporting into the Group Functions HR Business Partner, you will work closely with local HR teams in contributing to the development and execution of HR policies and support with divisional objectives.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

  • Delivering and supporting on the people lifecycle activities for the Group IT function, including recruitment, performance, engagement, training and development, talent and succession planning

  • Collaborating with local HR teams to support and guide managers on individual and team development - implementing policies and procedures to improve performance

  • Supporting the continued transformation and development of the global IT function

  • Assisting managers in enhancing their management and leadership skills, in line with strategic frameworks, providing coaching and training solutions as required

  • Working to build an inclusive, fair culture that is focussed on colleague wellbeing

  • Working with line managers on global recruitment to ensure the function can fill critical roles while building external partnerships to achieve this

  • Enhancing colleague experience and supporting on the Group IT colleague engagement agenda globally

  • Provision of timely and accurate information in support of people statistics, quarterly reports, business forecasting and plan processes


  • Your previous experience is likely to include….
  • HR Business Partnering experience within a similar sector/matrix organisation

  • Working within HR for a global function

  • Coaching and guiding managers across the business

  • Working on organisational design/development

  • Interpreting HR policies, procedures and situations in order to identify pragmatic solutions/recommendations

  • Advising and support managers on a range of matters, including change management, to reach an appropriate conclusion

    Possess knowledge of employment law and application

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

  • Work well with stakeholder management and support managers in their development, through coaching and guidance
