Full Job Description
We have a vacancy for a Skilled H.G.V Technician/Fitter to work days & afters rotating shifts ,This role is based around a working week of 40 hours Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings will be required when on the dayshift paid at time and a half .afters shift Monday to Friday only.
Duties Include:
- Undertake all aspects of HGV & LGV Inspection, Service and repair
- Undertake all aspects of Trailer Inspection, Service and repair
- Vehicle breakdown call-outs on rota
- Periodic vehicle & trailer inspections
- General servicing
- Supporting reactive maintenance which could run out of normal working hours
- MOT preparation including presenting at MOT
- Vehicle repairs including engine, transmission, electrical etc.
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Working to DVSA standards
Due to the nature of the role applicants must hold a full UK driving license and a (C+E) or (C) License would be highly desirable but no essential. Your own tools would be essential for this role
