Full Job Description

Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Product for Marketplace to come and join our global business.
Reporting directly into the Deputy Chief of Product, and working collaboratively with leaders from product, design and marketing teams, along with all senior stakeholders and founders. You will be accountable for delivering initiatives to boost the growth of Fresha's consumer marketplace and solidify its position as the leading platform for beauty and wellness services.

  • Vision - Responsible for defining, prioritising, planning and driving the execution of the product vision for the existing Marketplace offerings and future product lines

  • Evangelist - "Owning" the product experience and feature set, acting as the product evangelist to build awareness with internal and external stakeholders

  • Analysis - Gathering, analysing and proposing new features based on feedback from customers, marketing, engineering and the wider market

  • Strategy - Creating and managing product strategies, roadmaps, project plans and product specifications and aligning them with marketing activities and go to market plans

  • Staffing - Responsible for tribal staffing plans to make sure the optimal capacity is secured in order to achieve the set goals

  • Specification - Delivering detailed product requirements, specifications, UI/UX designs for various user cases with help of experienced product development team members

  • Coordination - Scheduling sprints and feature releases, coordinating closely with our engineering team on both new features as well as architectural improvements

  • Optimisation - Conducting A/B testing to optimise the product, ensure delivery of the best user experience the product can have at all times

  • Integration - Integrating product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis to shape product initiatives

  • Development - Take responsibility to further develop and grow our product development team

  • Refinement - Define and refine processes based on industry insights, experience with the product, and the strategic evolution of the company.

  • 1st Stage - Video-call/in-person with Deputy Chief of Product - 60 mins

  • 2nd Stage - In-person with Chief of Product, Deputy Chief of Product and Chief of People - 90 minutes

  • Final Stage - In-person with CEO and founder, CPO and DCPO - 90 minutes


  • We aim to complete the entire interview process and deliver feedback within 2 weeks.

  • 6+ years of of experience in product leadership, preferably in marketplace or consumer businesses

  • Proven track record of building and managing high performing product management teams

  • Proven experience delivering high growth results in a consumer product role

  • Demonstrated track record of driving product development through research, planning, implementation, launch, analysis, and iteration cycles

  • Understand user needs, respond to tight deadlines, and deliver products that drive key business metrics

  • Strong bias for action with deep experience driving product alignment across multiple stakeholders

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills with data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Proactive, ambitious attitude with a strong ability to motivate team members and present new proposals

  • Designers are your best friends, and you love to build products for diverse users

  • Great knowledge of modern product design methodologies

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
