Team Leadership: Join i's leadership team, responsible for delivering i's subscriber growth strategy and be a critical voice in the future of the business. This is the perfect position for an experienced product manager to take a leadership role, manage a team and own a digital product suite.

Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and non-siloed working across editorial, marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and successful execution. Build strong cross functional relationships and processes. We are an agile team that allows for quick decision making, so we are looking for a candidate who can drive results.

Product Strategy and culture: Lead the product strategy development for i, working with our editorial and business colleagues. Define top line priorities and measures of success and impact. Create the conditions for high-quality execution to deliver best-in-class digital news products.

User Experience Optimization: Champion the user experience by leveraging data-driven insights, user feedback, and industry best practices. Have experience based opinions on digital news experiences and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization across digital platforms.

Product Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle. Work closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences and execute effectively and at pace. You will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Work with the data team to establish acquisition and retention KPIS and metrics to measure the success of i products and secure buy-in around them across functions. Monitor product performance, conduct regular analysis, and leverage insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization.

Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the digital news space. Identify market opportunities and potential threats to inform product strategy and roadmap.

As the Head of Product for i, you will lead our efforts in developing and enhancing digital products to drive subscriber revenue growth. You will the product strategy, working closely with editorial, technology, design and marketing teams to drive innovation and deliver exceptional user experiences across our digital platforms. You will be an original thinker that can re-imagine the digital news experience and have opinions on what a good news product experience is. You will also have the ability to deliver technical change at pace.

We're looking for someone who innately understands best practice, when and how to take calculated risks and defaults to action. You should be comfortable with a high level of autonomy.,

  • 5+ years of experience in product management. The ideal candidate would have experience taking a product from ideation to launch.

  • Proven track record of leading product teams and delivering successful digital news products, specifically experience matching readers needs and expectations while also creating a sustainable business.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deep understanding of user experience principles, content distribution platforms, and digital publishing trends.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.

  • Passion for journalism, digital media, and creating impactful user experiences.

  • Experience in product marketing is a plus.
