Finance Director, Worldpanel, UK&I

Reporting to the Worldpanel CFO and with a strong dotted line into the UK & Ireland Managing Director this is a fantastic opportunity to lead the finance function for the largest region of Worldpanel at a time of substantial commercial, operational, and technological change for the business.
The role has responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of finance in a business with revenues of $120m offering a range of complex services to its clients with extensive reliance on advanced data science and technology. The role requires a highly commercial finance leader, who is skilled at partnering with senior business stakeholders and can deliver insights and take actions to maximise Revenue & EBITDA growth.,

• Partner with the UK & Ireland Managing Director to improve business performance (Revenue, EBITDA, Cash).


• Lead a FP&A finance team of five (on & offshore) and collaborate with the Controlling & Accounting team for financial reporting.


• Set reliable budgets and forecasts, identify risks and mitigations, and ensure no surprises.


• Support commercial excellence and evaluate service offerings to maximize revenue and margin.


• Develop business cases for investments and capital expenditure.


• Track and support ongoing transformation initiatives and identify cost savings.


• Improve working capital and cash flows.


• Contribute to the Worldpanel Finance Leadership team and translate global priorities into regional actions.


• Lead teams through periods of change, present key financial information, trends, and KPIs.


• Foster people development and succession planning.

  Degree level education (or equivalent) and an accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).


• Extensive experience in a finance leadership role within a global organization.


• Strong FP&A or Business Partnering experience with a focus on supporting sales organizations.


• Demonstrable track record of improving business performance.


• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, advocate for change, and drive results.


• High integrity, personal responsibility, and ability to motivate and inspire others.


• Financial skills in audit, tax, risk, compliance, and controls.


• Experience in a private equity or transformation environment is a plus.
