Electrician

We are seeking multiple Electricians in Newport and surrounding areas to join our company. Successful applicants will be carrying out electrical upgrades on planned, voids and reactive properties in the social housing sector.,

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in domestic properties.


• EICR's, inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to identify repairs.


• Diagnose electrical problems and implement appropriate solutions.


• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.


• Carry out, electrical upgrades or installations.


• Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.


• Mentoring apprentice electricians where required.


• Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken e.g., completing daily worksheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job.


• Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times, in accordance with all technical standards.


• To build positive working relationships with clients and ensure that all work is completed to a satisfactory level.
  
  The right candidates will be able to work well both unsupervised and as part of a team will have a valid CSCS card (or willing to work towards) and a full UK driving licence., Proven experience as an electrician.


• City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations / 18th edition regulations / NVQ 3.


• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Valid driver's licence.


• Experience in installation is Solar PV. (Desirable)
