Duty Manager - Cinema

We need a new Duty Manager to help run and make Reel Cinema Bridgnorth (The Majestic!) a great place to visit and work!

Duty Managers have a key role as part of a busy cinema. Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a successful team will be required in this role. You will be responsible for supporting the Cinema Manager in the day-to-day running of the cinema. You will be there to lead and guide the Front of House Assistants. A desire to work within a successful team and having a helpful and approachable personality is definitely required for this role. Previous supervisory experience would be a big advantage for this role.

Contracted to between 16-30 hours per week, depending on your availability - with flexibility to work more where available.

What does the job involve?

• Providing friendly and helpful service to customers


• Supervising team members and ensuring key jobs get done


• Supporting the management team in ensuring compliance with company guidelines


• Communicating targets and objectives to the team


• Helping the management to train team members


• Cash management responsibilities


• Driving concession sales


• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all public areas of the cinema


• Delivering high standards of presentation and display


• Putting stock out in the concessions areas


• Keeping up to date with your knowledge of film releases


• Working as part of a team
  
  Previous customer facing retail management experience is essential for this role. Also, you must be available to work evenings / weekends / school holidays - you'd probably do 1 or 2 close shifts per week., retail or food and beverage supervisory: 1 year (required)
