Data & Tech Project Manager

We are seeking a passionate Senior Project Management professional to oversee multiple data and technology projects at EssenceMediacomX for one of our premier clients. The role involves providing direct support to the data & tech practice leads, assisting with project planning & orchestration, documentation, reporting to clients, and facilitating the implementation and agile delivery of initiatives.
You must be proactive, highly organized, and adept at understanding the broader client vision while managing detailed tasks. As a Senior Project Manager, your role is to support the data & tech teams, ensuring they stay on track as they implement various initiatives focused on delivering data strategy and implementations for the account team and client. The key measures of success for this role will be driving a step change in the way we work, embracing agile principles and ensuring streamlined and timely delivery across cross-functional teams. You will be accountable for client deliverables and responsible for ensuring that projects and programs are executed successfully, on time, and with high quality.
The right candidate can build trusted relationships, show and earn respect at all levels, and will contribute to the team culture in an energetic and forward thinking way. Ideally you will have experience in project management with a background in media and data or technology. A positive attitude is essential, along with the ability to understand the big picture to identify dependencies, impacts, risks and potential solutions and raise them promptly. You should be comfortable setting up and leading meetings. You should also demonstrate a proactive and detail-oriented approach, with great interpersonal skills to sustain a healthy team culture while ensuring the team is working as efficiently as possible.
About the role / Some of the things we'd like you to do:

• Define project briefs and translate into project plans within our Project Management software, Wrike. Build out and manage work tasks, as well as supplementary documentation detailing scope, stakeholders, RACI and timelines


• Oversee daily execution of multiple data & tech projects and workflows, working with an agile mindset and using techniques such as standups, kanbans, sprint planning, prioritization and retrospectives, taking ownership of notes and follow-ups


• Support data & tech leads with client-facing meetings and communications, delivering clear status updates tailored to different stakeholders, proactively raising risks, issues and dependencies, and working with escalation points where needed to remove project roadblocks
  
  3+ years experience as a project manager, with a proven track record defining and leading data & tech project deliveries within a fast-moving, adaptable organisation


Must Have:


• Demonstrated experience working with Agile methodologies and leading cross-functional project teams in a proactive, collaborative and inclusive way


• Experience working with data & tech infrastructure teams such as data strategy, engineering, analytics, business intelligence or technology


• Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills


Nice-to Have:


• Ability to translate technical requirements into consolidated action plans, with enough understanding of the domain to ensure accurate task detail and 'read between the lines' to infer impacts and dependencies


• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality output and using Project Management tools such as Wrike, Jira (Atlassian), Asana, Trello, Microsoft Planner, ClickUp or Monday


• Excellent and proactive communication & clear articulation of requirements. Comfortable managing senior stakeholders to pragmatically balancing stakeholder needs and expectation with delivery capability and capacity
