Full Job Description

  • Lead development and implementation of the category strategies, from supplier sourcing through contract award to continuous contract performance management.

  • Business partnering across the internal & external stakeholder group.

  • Leveraging supplier resources for optimising value delivery through total cost savings and driving innovation, sustainability and managing risk.

  • Negotiate contracts in full supported by legal along with leading and decision making for commercial negotiations with supplier

  • Manage key supplier relationships and as required measure and review supplier performance and lead supplier continuous improvement programmes.

  • SRM program roll out and followed up with KPI's measurement, regular meetings and corrective actions to meet requested service level

  • Build, align and own annual budget for categories, quarterly forecasting & quarterly market led cost updates.

  • Implement cost models as per contractual conditions, actively reviewing & adjust as appropriate.

    At least 3-5 years procurement experience ideally in warehouse &distribution categories spend areas.

  • Knowledge of warehouse &distribution category in manufacturing industry

  • E- Sourcing and negotiation skills

  • Price modelling

  • Results driven, resilience and entrepreneurial mindset

    The Category Leader is responsible for developing and implementing WHS & Distribution strategies across TwO business as well as related procurement activities globally. As such, this role will need to work closely with the local Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure the global strategy accounts for regional and local market requirements while leveraging the global view and opportunities.
