Cafe Assistant

This is an exciting new opportunity in a brand new cafe on Heacham High Street. We are looking for a cafe assistant.

It is a multi-functional role in a small cafe which will involve:

• simple baking & decorating to set recipes


• food prep such as sandwiches


• making coffees


• serving customers


• cleaning & washing up


• ensuring compliance with food safety regulations & awareness of allergens


• provide excellent customer service


• collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
  
  previous barista experience is preferred


• Kitchen prep experience or a passion for home baking


• Good time management


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Good communication skills


• Knowledge of food safety

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)


• Barista: 1 year (preferred)
  
  Wed-Sun 7am-2pm. As we are a new business, the times may vary slightly until we work out a routine however we envisage approximate 6-7hr days with perhaps an extra hour prep time during busy seasons such as school holidays. No holidays can be taken during school holidays.


Pay

Depending on experience, starting from minimum wage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.60-£12.50 per hour
