Modern Coffee House seeks enthusiastic and highly organised Manager to lead a team in delivering a 5-star experience for our guests.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Village for a Manager in our Blend coffee house at The Health Club. The ideal candidate should ideally be able to demonstrate significant expertise of operating in a busy customer focused environment; a knowledge which is likely to have been acquired within a similar position in the hospitality industry.

A highly motivated, enthusiastic Manager who is keen to work in a customer focused environment, dedicated to ensuring that our customers enjoy a friendly, professional and speedy service to go with their choice of coffee!

The main duties of the role will be:

  • Supervise the team on shift

  • Take the lead with guests' issues

  • Delivering outstanding 5-star service to all guests by ensuring the Chain of Service is followed to support Customer Journey and maintain service standards.

  • Demonstrate excellence personal presentation and adhere to company uniform

  • Ensure Daily Opening/Closing Checklists are adhered and completed (this could be added to Team Member)

  • EOD banking and EPOS reconciliation

  • One to One training of new starters (C&D)

  • Co-operate with guests with food allergies and ensure SSOW Front & Back of House

  • Product ordering, manage stock rotation & help to reduce waste.

  • Ensure the team on shift are clear on their role and responsibilities for the shift

  • Supervise the set up and clean down from each service

  • Adjust daily rotas to reflect business levels and operational issues

  • Provide required paperwork for monthly stock take

    Excellent communication and people skills.

  • Flexibility, determination and the ability to cope well under pressure.

  • Enthusiasm and the desire to provide a fantastic customer service.

  • Time management skills - the ability to work on more than one task at a time.

  • Ability to work on their own initiative within a work environment.

  • A positive attitude and approach to team work.

  • Immaculate personal presentation and hygiene standards.

    The position is full time offering 40 hours over 5 days in a department that operates 7 days a week.
