Assistant Production Manager

Assistant Production Manager, Greenford, London. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our exceptional production team and driving continuous improvement in our food manufacturing operations. We're looking for a problem-solver to supercharge seamless and efficient production, while upholding the highest standards of food safety and quality.,

• Provide leadership and guidance to production supervisors and frontline staff


• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and enhance productivity.


• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.


• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production performance


• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on achieving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  
  âœ"️ Have a good amount of experience in production management/supervisory role and in food manufacturing environment (ideally in high-care and/or with high-risk supplying retailers)


âœ"️ Possess good knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FDA, GMP)

âœ"️ Lead by example and can demonstrate success in helping your team step up in optimising production processes effectively, motivating your team to collaboratively achieve goals with enthusiasm

âœ"️Can demonstrate a good history of driving continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and streamline processes.

âœ"️ Champion a commitment to maintain a strong safety culture, along with sound knowledge of food safety regulations. Our people and customers are the most important to us and ensuring their safety is our number one priority.

Struggle in a fast-paced environment and remaining calm in a busy and demanding department.

Aren't a self-starter. We'll always be here to give direction but we love to see how you tackle things with your own thinking first!

Don't have an eye for detail and process. We're looking for someone that doesn't like remaining comfortable with how things are done and can continuously analyse where improvements might be made.

Terms :


• 40 hrs/wk. i.e. Between 7.00 am-5:00 pm Mon-Fri (start and finish times flexible) with a hybrid working model.


• Annual salary review (our 'movers and shakers' are always rewarded)


• 10% KPI related bonus based around challenging but achievable tasks related to the role
