Full Job Description

Do you have what it takes to lead a data-driven asset investment planning team that supports the delivery of strategic home improvement and decarbonisation programmes. Are you able to manage and drive stock condition survey and long term planned maintenance programming, stock option appraisals, financial viabilities, and strategic stock interventions? Do you have excellent people management and team leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate well with valuers, surveyors, solicitors, contractors, and local authority partners? Are you motivated by helping to create and manage win-win solutions for complex and challenging property assets? If the answer to these questions is 'yes'…. please read on!, We are looking for someone with substantial experience of managing teams of technical asset surveying staff covering the disciplines of stock condition surveying, energy performance, component specification, planned maintenance programming, financial forecasting and stock optimisation. The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working with asset management databases and associated IT systems, and a proven track record of using property appraisal models and investment planning tools. A detailed knowledge of the WHQS and a range of statutory property-related regulations is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or be able to demonstrate an equivalent combination of qualification/senior level property management experience as a minimum

The Asset Manager role requires the ability to develop and nurture a network of collaborative, productive and effective working relationships to ensure a 'one team' approach. The ability to review and understand key trends arising from asset management and other data to support sound investment decision-making, and to create predictive, innovative and preventative solutions and forward programmes of work is key.

  • The salary for this role is £57,288 for a Full Time, 12 month, fixed term contract at 37 hours per week

  • Flexible working policies -Our offices are Newport & Swansea where our team meetings take place. Time can be spent at home and in the office to complete any relevant admin tasks. Your base will be either Newport or Swansea, dependant on which is closest to your home location.

  • It is essential for the successful candidates to have a full drivers licence and access to a car

  • The role requires a basic DBS which we pay for.
